Chairman, Co-Founder @ TechTalent | Cyber Security Expert Location: Melbourne Contract: 6 Months We’re looking for an experienced Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) specialist to join a major digital programme focused on transforming a high‑traffic public website using AEM Edge Delivery Services (EDS). This role centres on building fast, accessible and mobile‑first digital experiences that meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 standards and support users of all abilities. You’ll be working at the intersection of front‑end engineering, accessibility, and AEM’s modern block‑based architecture, with the Universal Editor at the core of your workflow. What You’ll Be Doing Platform Delivery Build, refine and maintain front‑end blocks and components within AEM Edge Delivery Services to support an inclusive user experience. Ensure every page adheres to WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA requirements and functions seamlessly with assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, etc.). Work closely with designers to turn Figma concepts into reusable, responsive and accessibility‑first UI components. Follow best‑practice HTML semantics, ARIA implementation, and keyboard‑friendly navigation patterns. Conduct manual and automated accessibility checks using tools such as Axe, Wave and Lighthouse. Assist content authors in publishing compliant content through the Universal Editor. Collaborate with developers, QA teams and accessibility SMEs to maintain accessibility as a core engineering principle. Optimise for performance and SEO, including correct metadata usage, loading strategies and heading hierarchies. Leverage Cloudflare CDN and edge workers to improve caching, performance and delivery. Contribute to code reviews, documentation and quality assurance activities. Continuous Improvement & Ways of Working Work with internal and external stakeholders to support ongoing enhancements across technology and operations. Assist in adopting new tools, modern engineering practices and improved delivery approaches. Keep up to date with emerging technologies and propose improvements where appropriate. Embrace Agile principles and iterative, test‑and‑learn approaches to support continual uplift. Promote and uphold standards relating to engineering quality, security and regulatory compliance. What You Bring Core Skills & Experience Experience with the AEM Edge Delivery Services ecosystem, including its serverless architecture, block‑based development model and Universal Editor processes. Ability to deliver performant, responsive and accessibility‑compliant interfaces. Familiarity with serverless patterns, Cloudflare worker agents, API integration and general back‑end support. Solid understanding of caching, CDN behaviour and performance tuning. Experience using Git Enterprise, CI/CD practices, Sonar, and Jira/Azure DevOps. Awareness of OWASP guidelines and secure coding practices. Accessibility Expertise Demonstrated knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2, ARIA techniques and testing with tools such as NVDA, Axe and Lighthouse. Nice to Have Experience integrating Adobe Launch, Target or Analytics. Adobe certifications or formal training in AEM technologies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
