ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a skilled Network and Systems Engineer to join our fully remote Shared Services IT team. In this role, you will design, implement, manage, and support network and IT infrastructure across our diverse portfolio of holiday parks, communities, and villages. You will work closely with the Head of Infrastructure and wider IT Team to deliver reliable, secure, and high-performing systems that keep our business connected. This role has a strong focus on wireless network design, WAN/LAN infrastructure, Microsoft cloud technologies, and providing high-level support across multiple sites. You’ll also be involved in exciting projects such as site upgrades, new park onboarding, and technology rollouts. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Designing, deploying, and maintaining wired and wireless network infrastructure across multiple sites. Implementing and supporting PTP and PTMP wireless links, including performance optimisation. Configuring and managing Cambium Networks and MikroTik routers, switches, and wireless devices. Ensuring strong network performance through effective VLAN, VPN, routing, switching, and firewall management. Troubleshooting complex network and system issues and resolving outages. Supporting Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure AD. Maintaining network monitoring tools, documentation, IP management, and configuration records. Assisting with IT projects such as upgrades and new site onboarding. Providing second and third-level support on escalated IT matters. Supporting CCTV network infrastructure and remote access. WHAT YOU'LL BRING Demonstrated experience in network engineering and systems administration. Strong hands‑on experience with Cambium Networks, MikroTik (RouterOS), PTP/PTMP wireless networks, and SM deployments. Expertise in LAN/WAN infrastructure, VLANs, routing, switching, VPN technologies, and network security appliances. Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure AD. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving capability across network and system environments. Excellent communication skills and the ability to support users across multiple remote locations. A proactive, customer‑focused approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Experience in multi‑site environments such as holiday parks or corporate networks. Knowledge of Ubiquiti/UniFi or VOIP systems. Familiarity with ITIL, CCTV networks, or Microsoft Power Platform. Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Network+, MikroTik MTCNA/MTCRE, or Cambium certification. WHY WORK WITH US?
