Opportunity exists for a temporary part‑time Senior Clinical Dietitian at Mona Vale Hospital, Brookvale Community Health Centre and the Adolescent and Young Adult Hospice. Employment Type : Temporary Part-Time (positions available until 22 January 2027 with possibility of ongoing employment)Position Classification : Dietitian Level 3Remuneration : $58.95 – $60.86 per hourHours Per Week : 22Requisition ID : REQ Where you'll be working This position is located across multiple sites at Mona Vale Hospital, Brookvale Community Health Centre and Adolescent and Young Adult Hospice. Clinical area allocation is based on clinical need. What you'll be doing The Senior Clinical Dietitian will provide high‑quality nutrition and dietetics services to allocated clinical areas, supervise junior and support staff, and advocate for nutrition services as a key member of the healthcare team. Responsibilities include: Maintaining standards of quality nutritional care, education and consultancy for patients, staff and the wider community. Planning, implementing, evaluating and reporting on nutrition services. Identifying opportunities for improvement in clinical practice and leading ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria Consistently demonstrate behaviours that reinforce the core values of our organisation: collaboration, openness, respect and empowerment, with all stakeholders. Bachelor or postgraduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, with extensive clinical experience at least as a Level 2 Dietitian. Proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and proven ability to liaise with novice and experienced health professionals and external service providers. Demonstrated computer literacy and ability to use health information systems. Experience initiating, leading, completing and sharing quality improvement activities or service evaluation processes. Experience in clinical teaching and supervision of students, level 1/2 Allied Health Professionals and/or Allied Health Assistants.
