Base pay range A$60,000.00/yr – A$70,000.00/yr A well‑established Managed Service Provider based in Alvondale Heights, Melbourne is seeking a Level 1 Service Desk Technician to provide first‑line technical support to clients, resolve day‑to‑day issues, and ensure smooth delivery of IT services across a diverse customer base. This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience in an MSP or technical support environment , strong communication skills, and a desire to build their career in a collaborative and customer‑focused team. What You’ll Be Doing Providing Level 1 technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system Using N‑Able (or similar RMM tools) to diagnose, monitor, and support endpoints remotely Creating, triaging, and resolving tickets in the ITSM platform in line with procedures and SLAs Performing routine preventative maintenance for managed services clients Supporting Microsoft Teams Calling and Microsoft 365 applications Troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and basic networking issues Building, testing, and deploying SOE devices to client specifications Visiting client sites as required for onsite support Updating inventory, receipting hardware, and assisting with basic project activities Maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to internal knowledge bases Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in IT support, preferably within an MSP Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and desktop support Basic knowledge of networking, WiFi, and peripheral devices Experience using or exposure to RMM and PSA tools Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and deliver high‑quality customer service A relevant IT qualification (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree) Full Australian working rights (Citizen or PR) Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS Experience supporting backup or disaster recovery tools Familiarity with SOE builds and deployment processes Please apply online or email your CV directly to .
