The Corporate Services (CS) Division incorporates governance, finance, legal, risk, information technology, property and logistics. The focus of the Division is to ensure Cancer Council’s divisions operate to the highest standards of efficiency and effectiveness to ensure compliance and collaborate with the business to develop and deliver its Strategic Priorities. The Division also works to ensure the protection and optimisation of the Council’s financial and business assets, and reputation. Our digital vision is to prevent cancer, empower patients and save lives through connection, collaboration and innovation. The Information Technology (IT) team champions this vision and supports the rest of the organisation in its realisation. We deliver the software platforms, infrastructure, support, security and services that enable CCV as a digital-first organisation. About your opportunity We are seeking a Service Desk Technician to join the Corporate Services Division. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager your role is to: Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance Be customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality support Have strong documentation and communication skills Have strong problem-solving skills in technical environments All about you We are looking for someone with: A commitment to delivering high-quality support with professionalism, punctuality, and courtesy Demonstratable working knowledge of Microsoft products and supporting infrastructure Ability to proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including recurring problems, and contribute to continuous improvement. Capable of managing priorities under pressure, working independently and collaboratively, and maintaining accurate documentation What we can offer you Base salary of $73,698 to $79,370 p.a. (dependent on experience, pro rata for part time) plus 12% superannuation. Salary packaging benefits of $15,900 plus meals/entertainment $2,650 p.a.
