Overview Disability Support Workers – Gold CoastRight at Home – Supporting Independence, Choice & Quality Care About the Role Right at Home is seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our Gold Coast team. We provide in-home support services that empower people with disability to live independently and enjoy a fulfilling life. As a Disability Support Worker, you will deliver person-centred care that promotes independence, community inclusion, and personal choice. You’ll work closely with clients, families, and our care team to support individual needs and goals. Shifts Shifts available: Gold Coast region, with an average of 6–30 hours per week . Services are generally between 6am–6pm Monday to Friday , with passive sleepover shifts available. Key Responsibilities Provide personal care, including assistance with daily living activities. Assist with mobility, manual handling, and exercise routines. Encourage participation in social, recreational, and community activities. Assist with domestic tasks such as meal preparation and light housekeeping. Implement behaviour support strategies, including restrictive practices when required. Document care provided and follow individual service plans. Collaborate with families, carers, and professionals to support client goals. What You’ll Need Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability). Current First Aid & CPR certificate. NDIS Worker Screening Check & Orientation Module Certificate. Police Clearance. Open Australian Driver’s Licence with comprehensive Insurance Reliable vehicle. Valid working rights in Australia. Smartphone with internet access.
