Senior Project Manager Design Build – a family‑owned fit‑out and refurbishment company with over 50 years of experience delivering high‑quality construction, refurbishment and heritage restoration across commercial, education, government, industrial and residential sectors. Opportunity With a robust project pipeline of commercial workplace fit‑outs and refurbishments across Sydney’s CBD and inner suburbs, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of multiple high‑specification fit‑out and refurbishment projects (typically $1 M‑$10 M, with opportunity for larger scopes). You will enjoy autonomy, support, and the chance to lead projects where quality, design‑conscious delivery and client satisfaction are paramount. Role Reporting to Senior Leadership, your responsibilities will include: Leading end‑to‑end delivery of commercial fit‑outs and refurbishments, from contract award to final handover Managing project budgets, cost control, procurement, subcontractor coordination and commercial performance Overseeing program scheduling, resource management and quality control with a strong emphasis on finish, detail and compliance Coordinating with clients, consultants, designers and internal trades teams to ensure design intent, functionality and buildability align Driving HSEQ compliance and safe‑work practices on all sites Providing clear, timely reporting and communication to stakeholders, and managing risks, variations and project deliverables About You Qualified in Construction Management, Building or a related discipline (or equivalent trade + site‑management experience) 5‑8+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial fit‑out, with at least one project completed as a Senior Project Manager Demonstrated ability to deliver varied fit‑out/refurbishment scopes, from small commercial suites to complex workplace upgrades Strong commercial acumen, organisational skills and ability to lead projects to meet budget, time and quality targets Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills A hands‑on, detail‑driven approach, with a commitment to superior finish quality, safety and client satisfaction Benefits Competitive package up to $210 000 + super, depending on experience Leadership of high‑profile, design‑driven commercial fit‑outs and refurbishment projects in prime Sydney locations Work with a respected, family‑owned builder that values quality, integrity and employee loyalty A collaborative, team‑based environment with long‑term project pipeline and opportunities for progression Exposure to diverse project types, commercial offices, heritage works, refurbishments and more – building your portfolio and experience How to Apply Click Apply and submit your resume and project portfolio (Word format preferred).
