Join to apply for the Corporate Information Officer role at Knox City Council We have an exciting, ongoing opportunity for a competent records officer to join the Corporate Information team. You will be responsible for opening and triaging incoming mail, scanning hard copy documents and registering both hard copy records and emails into Knox’s records management system KX. You will liaise with internal customers and external stakeholders and make a difference daily by providing support and advice across a range of records functions. You will report to the Team Leader Corporate Information and work collaboratively with the Corporate Information team. This is a full‑time permanent role based at Knox Civic Centre. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met. Remuneration will be $73,349.33 to $78,124.95 (depending on experience) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee. This is a Band 4 classified role. What you will bring to this role Demonstrated commitment to displaying the organisation’s values. Demonstrated knowledge of the Public Records Act 1973, supporting PROV Standards, Specifications, Guidelines and Advices. Demonstrated application of records management policies and procedures. Demonstrated archiving experience in the application of PROV Retention and Disposal Schedules. Demonstrated experience with an electronic document and records management system (EDRMS) and proficiency in the use of desktop based office applications. Demonstrated experience in the handling, processing and distribution of all inward and outward mail items. Demonstrated capacity to work effectively and contribute to a positive team environment. Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
