Mortgage Loan Processor As a loan processor you will play a vital role in the client(s) lending experience by facilitating home loan applications and ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately and efficiently processed. Supporting this broker in Cronulla - Sydney, the successful candidate will bring a proactive and strong customer service attitude to the loan processing role. You will be responsible for reviewing home loan applications, verifying borrower information, and coordinating with various parties to ensure home loans are processed in a timely manner while adhering to lender policies/mortgage industry regulations. What you will do Assist the head broker with home loan applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness. Verify borrower information, including income, employment, credit history, and overall current financial position of borrower(s). Ensure home loan applications are complete and accurate, including loan application forms, property valuation reports, and other required documents. Submit home loan applications and documentation to the recommended credit provider/lender/bank for approval using Infynity CRM. Communicate with applicants/borrowers to request additional information or clarification on loan applications as needed. Communicate with loan officers, assessors/underwriters, and other stakeholders to gather and organise home loan documentation. Follow up on outstanding conditions and address and complete any loan conditions in a timely manner to ensure applications can be converted to final approval. Provide exceptional customer service to borrowers and respond to enquiries related to loan status and documentation. What you will have Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail. Strong analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. High level of professionalism as well as being open to learning other aspects of mortgage broking. Highly Desirable Previous experience (1-2 years) working with a mortgage broker or previous experience as a loan processor or mortgage lending support officer or broker associate. Understanding of home loan products, home loan documentation requirements, and loan processing procedures. Knowledge of NCCP (National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009) as well as knowledge of BID (Best Interest Duty) as well as Responsible Lending Requirements.
