Leading Hand – Service & Repair Location: Forrestfield, Perth Full-time, Permanent 8/6 Roster About the Role Join our Service & Repairs team as a Leading Hand, working a consistent 8:6 roster based in Forrestfield, WA. In this hands‑on leadership role, you’ll coordinate the daily activities of the service team, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to BRE’s high‑quality standards. Key responsibilities include: Lead and support the Service & Repairs team to meet production targets Act as a key point of contact for operational issues, delays, and priorities Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on trailers and road transport equipment Monitor job schedules, part availability, and workloads to ensure efficiency Ensure all work meets company quality standards and regulatory requirements Interpret technical drawings and resolve fabrication or assembly issues Provide regular updates to the Foreperson on production status, safety compliance, team performance, and quality outcomes About You Relevant trade qualification in Fabrication, Vehicle Body Building, or Heavy Diesel Mechanics 3–5 years’ experience in the production, service, or assembly of mechanical products (preferably road transport) Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and support teams in a workshop environment Strong problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on, proactive approach Displays personal drive, initiative, and commitment to safety and quality Why BRE?
