Hotel George & Colonial Hotel Launceston are looking for an energetic, motivated and proactive Handy Person to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. You will take pride in the work you do and take on the responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of our hotels. The successful person will have proven experience in working autonomously and the ability to problem solve. Responsibilities Carry out general repairs, painting, plastering, plumbing, carpentry and basic electrical work. Carry out work and preventative maintenance tasks in a timely manner. Have exceptional eye for detail, ensuring all rooms and public areas are presented to a high standard. You don't need a decade of experience or to be a qualified tradie, just practical know-how, handy with tools and a positive attitude. Hours would be Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm.
