Requirements for this role Looking for candidates available to work: Mon morning Mon afternoon Tue morning Tue afternoon Wed morning Wed afternoon Thu morning Thu afternoon Fri morning Fri afternoon 1 year of relevant work experience required for this role We are a long‑established Caloundra‑based manufacturer seeking a Despatch Staff to join our team. This role involves picking, packing, and dispatching orders, receiving deliveries, and performing other general warehouse tasks as required. Responsibilities Pick, pack, and dispatch orders. Organise the dispatch schedule and allocate transport workflow. Operate a forklift safely and efficiently. Load and unload trucks and containers. Liaise with all relevant parties to ensure timely delivery. Provide accurate and timely information on operations and any issues arising with the dispatch of goods. Perform and maintain warehouse inventory control and stocktakes. Complete data entry and relevant paperwork for all incoming and outgoing deliveries. Maintain a clean, organised, and obstruction‑free work area and warehouse. Collaborate with other team members and supervisors. Be willing and able to perform manual labour and general ad‑hoc warehouse and workshop duties as required. Job‑Specific Skills Experience working in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environment. Forklift licence – essential. Full, open driver’s licence. Reliable, with a strong work ethic and excellent attention to detail. Physically capable of performing heavy lifting. Strong time‑management and prioritisation skills; able to multitask and meet deadlines. Experience communicating with multiple stakeholders (e.g., freight companies, sales team). Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use. We are looking for a reliable and consistent team player to join us as a Despatch Staff. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn new skills, and previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded.
