What you will be doing
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this role will be responsible for:
Receiving, storing, packing, and dispatching warehouse items while maintaining accurate inventory records.
Leading, supporting and training pick teams during election preparations and major events.
Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient freight handling.
Providing weekly courier services and supporting ad hoc deliveries/collections.
Testing and maintaining all inventory items and election office equipment
Maintaning the storage and retrieval of VEC records
What you will bring to the role
A current and valid forklift's license (mandatory. High reach and counterbalance experience preferred)
A current and valid car driver's license (mandatory)
Demonstrated experience working in a warehouse, including the ability to control a 1-tonne vehicle
Ability to motivate, guide and support team members to acheive high performance
Ability to quickly adapt to new computer systems with proven experience in the use of MS Word and Excel
