They should demonstrate flexibility, strong organisational capability, and a sound understanding of evidence-based pedagogy for students with disability. The role focuses on building positive and respectful relationships to foster student engagement, wellbeing, and belonging. Experience as a Secondary Education Support teacher or primary-trained with Education Support teaching experience and willingness to teach across multiple year levels. Background in Classroom Management Strategies (CMS), trauma-informed practice, Special Education Needs Reporting to Parents (SEN RTP), and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is highly desirable. Ability to deliver effective differentiation to meet diverse learner needs. This position may involve developing, implementing, reviewing, and monitoring Individual Education Plans (IEPs) aligned to functional curriculum goals, including objectives supporting social-emotional regulation, life skills, and learner independence.
