Investment Associate – Transaction Services (Family Office) Our client is a globally connected family office managing a diversified portfolio across private credit, private equity, listed equities, and fund investments. Their strategy combines direct investing in private and public markets alongside leading fund managers globally. The Opportunity Our client is seeking an Investment Associate to join their Sydney-based team. This newly created role supports the next phase of portfolio growth and direct investment activity. The successful candidate will work closely within the experienced investment team across multiple asset classes, contributing to investment decisions and portfolio strategy in a flat, entrepreneurial environment. Key Responsibilities Perform detailed financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence on potential investments. Build and maintain financial models for underwriting and performance tracking. Prepare investment committee materials and participate in deal evaluation discussions. Support transaction structuring, negotiation, and execution. Monitor portfolio performance and assist with reporting to stakeholders. What They’re Looking For CFA or CA qualification (preferred) with 6+ years in corporate finance, investment banking, or similar roles preferably in Transaction Services. Strong experience in valuation and investment due diligence. Commercial acumen and understanding of transaction processes. Exceptional attention to detail, analytical mindset, and proactive problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication skills and ability to produce clear, insightful materials. Familiarity with AI tools for research and process efficiency is a plus. Why Join Them?
