Associate / Senior Associate, Funds, Super, Financial Services – Investments

**Your role**You'll be a part of our , & Financial Services (FSF) team and work with lawyers across all of our offices. Working closely with our Partners and the wider team, you will gain exposure to the most complex and interesting transactions in the market. You'll have the privilege of advising clients across a range of asset classes, including private equity and venture capital, infrastructure, renewable energy, real estate and private credit.At Allens, our structure means you'll get exposure to a number of different Partners within FSF and a wide variety of work. We encourage our lawyers to find their niche and specialise in areas they're interested in, while building a strong foundation across their field.As a funds lawyer within our FSF team, you will be working in a team ranked Chambers Band 1 for Investment Funds, Superannuation and Financial Services, and your role will include:* Advising blue chip Australian and international fund sponsors on the establishment of widely held funds, funds-of-one, co-investment vehicles, continuation funds, capital partnerships and IMAs.* Advising leading Australian and global institutional and sovereign investors in relation to their Australian and offshore fund investments, co-investments and direct investments. direct and indirect investments across a range of traditional and emerging asset classes. Advising on fund secondary sale transactions.* Assisting with the funds-related aspects of M&A matters.* Assisting sponsors, superannuation and other investors in relation to regulatory and compliance issues associated with their activities, including financial services licensing.This is a permanent, full-time opportunity however flexibility matters at Allens, so if you are seeking hybrid working or are looking for flexibility in your work, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.**About you**You will have:* Experience working in transaction work in funds, superannuation or financial services, ideally from a leading top tier, national or international firm, or an in-house team. Offshore experience is welcome but not essential.* A passion to specialise in investment funds.* Specific experience in fund establishment and/or fund investments work, and working on transactions and providing advice to a range of clients.
