see more and be more.As our Retail Marketing Director on a 12-month fixed term contract, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction to the Retail Marketing team to deliver a consistent brand experience across all consumer engagement touch points in Australia and New Zealand.Building relationships cross functionally and partnering with our global teams in Milan, this role oversees various aspects of brand management, strategy, production, planning, budgeting, team management & customer engagement initiatives within fast-moving global retail businesses. The role is pivotal in shaping the marketing plans for our retail banners of OPSM, Sunglass Hut, Oakley Retail, Laubman & Pank and EyeQ Optometrists across Australia and New Zealand.In this role you will:Implement the global brand plans to achieve business goals and brand ambitions.Drive and deliver consistent brand positioning across all channels and segments, growing brand awareness and considerationCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, product and finance to align marketing strategies with business goals.Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and customer behaviour in the eyewear and eyecare sectorBrief and produce marketing collateral, advertising campaigns, and promotional materials to support the marketing calendar.Manage the marketing calendars and promotional plans for the retail banners in partnership with Senior leadership teamsBrief and manage the annual media strategy to support each retail bannerBe the custodian of all agency scope of work agreements and relationshipsManage and reconcile the retail brand Marketing budgets to align with the brand ambitionsProvide reporting on campaign performance, quarterly business updates and marketing ROI to the wider team, making recommendations for optimisationManage and coach a team of direct and indirect reportsTo be successful in this role you will ideally have:Business degree with a focus on Marketing or CommunicationsDemonstrated track record of effective leadership and people management skills6 + years’ experience within a similar level positionPrevious industry experience within retail is highly desirableResponsibility for managing budgets and accountability for resultsDemonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing communications.Aptitude to coach, train and develop others and strong stakeholder managementSome of the benefits you could enjoy:A career with EssilorLuxottica will offer you rewarding experiences and the opportunity to develop your skills every day.
