We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services, including maternity, palliative care, mental health, drug and alcohol, residential care, community health and state-wide specialist services to people and communities that are diverse in culture, age, socio-economic status, population and healthcare needs.About the roleEastern Health Finance Department provides financial support to the hospitals under Eastern Health including financial transactions, financial analysis and reporting, accounts payable, patient accounts, treasury, capital, budgeting and forecasting. This role is pivotal in developing process improvement within the Financial Department and the broader Health Service where applicable. The successful applicant would work with the Financial Controller, Director of Financial Services and other leading financial and non-financial managers to develop and manage improvement projects.About youTo be successful in this role you will possess:At least 10 years’ experience in a Financial Accounting or Management Accounting roleA relevant degree and CA or CPA qualificationGood understanding of project methodologyHighly developed interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong IT skills particularly with MS products and power BI and other automating toolsThe ability to work as part of a diverse team.Excellent communication and organisational skillsPlease refer to the attached position description for further details of the role.Vaccination against infectious disease is a mandatory requirement of this role.
