ABOUT DELTA Delta Community Services is a professional NDIS Registered Organisation that provides support to participants with Disabilities in Australia. We specialize in finding quality staff who really want to support our participants and customers make a meaningful change to their everyday lives. Casual and Permanent part time work available in Brisbane Northern Suburbs, Logan, Ipswich & Gold Coast. SIL part-time work available in Pimpama, Logan & Ipswich (x2 new locations). You will be required to cover shifts in mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnight both weekdays, Public Holidays. NEW to the industry candidates are welcome to apply IMMEDIATE Start (if you have all the mandatory docs required) WHAT WE OFFER A supportive and inclusive culture to all team members A genuine commitment to support our employees Permanent Part Time for SIL Homes, guaranteed minimum hours Casual, flexible work for Community Access work WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR On a day-to-day basis, your duties might include: accessing community facilities personal care and assisting our clients with grooming meeting friends, medical appointments, helping with household chores, administering medication, transporting clients to live a better quality of life To be successful in the role you must be able to demonstrate character traits such as empathy, honesty, flexibility and the ability to provide warm encouragement. You will be dedicated to improving the lives of both young people and adults, and have the following attributes: Compassionate, empathetic and detail-oriented person Strong listening and verbal communication skills Patient, flexible and understanding with a supportive and caring nature Able to build meaningful positive relationships with our clients and their families Commitment to the rights of people with disabilities to live dignified lives Capacity to remain calm and rational in heightened and stressful situations Be a strong role-model with confidence to engage and encourage our clients in educational and social activities Flexible and available at short notice and able to work a variety of shifts in different locations QUALIFICATIONS, LICENSES & CERTIFICATES NDIS Screening Card (Must have or willing to obtain) Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (Must have or willing to obtain) Blue Card (Must have or willing to obtain) A valid Queensland Driver License – minimum P2 Green (Must have) Evidence of your Right to Work in Australia (Must have) Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance for Transporting clients (we offer KM reimbursement) Company Overview About us : Delta Community Support is a registered NDIS provider based in Queensland and Victoria.
