Construction Manager, Transmission Lines Enerven – Join us as a Construction Manager. About the role The Transmission Lines Construction team is seeking a qualified Construction Manager with experience delivering a range of transmission infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for planning, managing and completing projects in a safe, efficient, timely and cost-effective manner through the diligent management of people, subcontractors and resources. You will provide leadership and guidance to construction crews, coordinate day-to-day operations, manage budgets and plan/schedule work. Reporting to the Manager, Transmission Lines Construction, your days will include: Lead and manage the planning and delivery of allocated projects Develop, maintain, and report on project schedules Provide technical and constructability input during design and tender stages Manage WHS, Environmental, Cultural Heritage, and Quality requirements for the team and subcontractors Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships to ensure timely delivery Collaborate with project managers and partners on variations and project completion Ensure daily reporting and effective communication of project updates Anticipate and address potential risks or delays to maintain delivery timelines Champion a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement on site Ensure timely completion, review, and submission of ITP/ITC documentation This role is based in Sydney, but the team often works on project construction sites across NSW and interstate. Roster requirements vary with project needs. Qualifications Extensive experience managing the construction and delivery of transmission line projects from planning through to commissioning Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage crews and subcontractors Demonstrated experience implementing and managing WHS, Environmental, Cultural Heritage, and Quality systems in line with statutory and client standards Skilled in project planning, scheduling, resourcing, cost control, and reporting to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget Confidence to build trusted relationships with stakeholders and clients, including network owners, landholders and regulatory bodies Hands‑on experience with ITP/ITC documentation, commissioning requirements, and project close‑out processes A Trade Certificate, or qualifications in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) Benefits Overtime at x2 time + LAFHA applicable when working away 17.5% leave loading on annual leave 13% superannuation Up to $900 in electricity reimbursement each year Automatic coverage from our income protection scheme Paid parental leave and 18 weeks paid primary parental leave Ability to purchase extra annual leave of up to 20 days Salary sacrifice towards novated lease vehicle Corporate discount towards health insurance and gym memberships Leadership and career development opportunities Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Project Management and Engineering Enerven delivers electrical infrastructure and telecommunications solutions that are vital to connecting communities across Australia.
