Role Overview The Broker will be responsible for sourcing, structuring and executing high-quality credit transactions across Kingsmen’s private credit mandates. The role requires a technically proficient and commercially minded operator with an in-depth understanding of secured lending, real estate finance, and credit risk assessment. The successful candidate will demonstrate a disciplined approach to transaction origination, borrower due diligence, covenant structuring and documentation coordination, operating within a regulated and compliance-driven framework. Key Responsibilities Originate and qualify senior secured lending opportunities across residential, commercial and development mandates including acquisition, refinance and construction facilities. Conduct detailed preliminary credit due diligence including borrower profiling, collateral assessment, feasibility validation, loan-to-value ratio (LVR) calibration and covenant testing. Liaise with Kingsmen’s credit, legal and settlements teams to coordinate the end-to-end transaction lifecycle from origination through to execution and settlement. Engage directly with sponsors, developers, introducers and capital partners to structure funding solutions that align with borrower objectives and risk appetite parameters. Prepare transaction summaries, indicative term sheets and credit recommendations consistent with internal credit policy and investment committee standards. Ensure compliance with the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), AML/CTF Act 2006 and ASIC Responsible Lending guidelines throughout all origination and settlement processes. Maintain CRM integrity and ensure all credit submissions, borrower correspondence and due diligence materials are complete and audit-ready. Contribute to continuous improvement in origination efficiency, risk management and capital deployment strategy through process feedback and collaboration. Performance Benchmarks Consistent origination and conversion of credit opportunities meeting Kingsmen’s underwriting and return criteria. Adherence to institutional documentation standards and compliance controls across all transactions. Demonstrated ability to cultivate repeat borrower relationships and introducer channels through professional engagement and reliable execution. Remuneration Kingsmen offers an above-market remuneration framework designed to align individual performance with portfolio profitability. During the initial three-month assessment period, the employee will receive 65% of all commissions earned, with 35% retained by Kingsmen Capital Partners. Upon completion of this period, a formal performance and contribution review will be conducted to determine eligibility for a base salary plus commission structure calibrated to role performance metrics, transaction volume, credit quality and adherence to governance standards. Required Experience Demonstrated experience in commercial lending, mortgage brokerage, structured finance or private debt origination. Advanced understanding of credit risk fundamentals, property valuation methodologies, feasibility modelling and covenant structuring. Strong transactional awareness of intercreditor agreements, priority deeds and enforceability of security interests. Established network of borrowers, developers, introducers and capital partners within the Australian lending market. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of preparing investment-grade documentation and engaging with senior stakeholders. Highly motivated, disciplined and commercially focused, with strong attention to execution accuracy, risk calibration and borrower outcomes.
