Junior-Mid Weight Graphic Designer

We’re looking for a talented and motivated Junior-Mid Weight Graphic Designer to join Rik and Ralph’s dynamic creative team in Melbourne’s CBD on a full-time basis. You’ll work on a diverse mix of Australian and international brands , creating campaigns and brand roll-outs that push creative boundaries. This is a role where your ideas, technical skills, and eye for detail will help deliver premium creative work across print, digital, and motion, working alongside a collaborative and high-performing team. The Junior-Mid Weight Graphic Designer will play a crucial role in taking work from concept all the way through to finish across print and digital for various clients from diverse industry sectors. An understanding of modern design and how to bring that into your craft is essential to confidently executing exceptional results in line with the quality that Rik and Ralph is known to deliver. Key Accountabilities Partner closely and provide support to the design team on a daily basis to contribute creative ideas and concepts for projects. Create high quality content for a range of applications which may include: website, app, packaging, point of sale and socials. Develop assets to support storytelling initiatives for new campaigns and product launches. Produce motion assets, including light video editing, GIFs, and animations, to enhance digital content. Create digital media assets for paid social, programmatic, and brand campaign media, ensuring brand consistency and effectiveness. Assist in generating new concepts for internally developed initiatives as well as execute against approved concepts. Build presentation materials as needed. Assist in the maintenance of quality control standards throughout the design and production processes, in accordance with brand standards. Maintain organised digital files for design documentation and assets. Key Capabilities Explore and present new ideas including trends in advertising, graphics, product and packaging design. Regularly research the luxury and consumer goods market. Share knowledge with colleagues to further enhance the Rik and Ralph brand. Present and communicate work to colleagues. Collaborate and share information with brand partners as needed. Required Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a BA in Communication Design (or an equivalent). 2 years+ of professional experience working in an agency (essential). Experience with video editing is essential Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills in a design environment, with expertise in executing high quality assets ensuring high attention to detail with an eye for premium finishing. Demonstrated ability to receive and incorporate feedback, adapt to edits, and navigate shifts in creative direction. Self-motivated and capable of independently managing projects and delivering on deadlines. Must know Adobe Creative Suite ( Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and/or Premiere) Strong technical skills in presentation preparation. Previous experience working collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
