Join a fast-growing, innovation-driven medical device company at a pivotal time for its ANZ expansion. As Surgical Specialist for WA, you'll be the clinical and commercial face of a leading surgical portfolio driving adoption of advanced minimally invasive techniques, shaping surgeon education, and partnering closely with theatre teams, procurement and internal sales colleagues. What you'll do Lead promotion and clinical support of key surgical technologies across targeted hospitals in WA Identify, engage and support surgeons and theatre teams to drive uptake and ongoing utilisation of priority procedures and products. Plan and deliver training programs, workshops and labs with local faculty / proctors to build confidence and capability in the portfolio. Build and manage relationships with KOLs, clinical educators and theatre managers to strengthen advocacy and brand visibility. Work with procurement, product evaluation committees and key stakeholders to secure access, trials and formulary approvals. Represent the company at congresses, society meetings and third-party events to position the portfolio strategically in the market. Collaborate closely with regional sales teams on joint account plans, tenders and strategic projects to grow market share. Develop and execute territory business plans, tracking performance, opportunities and activity in line with growth objectives. What you'll bring Experience in medical devices and / or operating theatre environment (scrub / scout, device sales, or clinical specialist background). Strong understanding of laparoscopic / general surgery and related specialties (e.g. gynae, bariatric) or willingness to learn quickly. Proven track record in sales or clinical influencing, with comfort presenting and training in front of clinical audiences. Existing relationships within the Operating Theatre landscape (surgeons, nursing staff, theatre managers) highly regarded. Solid commercial acumen, excellent communication skills and a highly collaborative, team-oriented approach. Strong organisational and administrative skills, with the ability to self-manage a large territory and meet all reporting requirements. Flexibility to travel across WA as required for theatre support, training, and customer meetings.
