Key responsibilities Drive student growth through meaningful partnerships and innovative recruitment initiatives Play a pivotal role in driving the Universitys domestic recruitment strategy Full time ongoing role based at any of our University of Tasmania locations (TAS SYD) About the opportunity The University is committed to further increasing the number of Tasmanian and interstate students choosing to study with us. To achieve this the Future Students team as part of the Recruitment Engagement & Marketing portfolio is responsible for the implementation of domestic student recruitment initiatives aligned with the Universitys institutional strategy. The Recruitment Specialist plays a critical role in operationalising the portfolios strategy and achieving student recruitment performance targets. The position is responsible for establishing developing and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders including academic units industry and not-for-profits and will have project management responsibilities. What youll do : Build Strategic Relationships : Foster connections with TAFE community organisations industry government and professional bodies. Collaborate Internally : Develop strong working relationships with academic units marketing admissions Alumni and Short Courses teams. Drive Business Development : Identify and pursue opportunities that enhance student recruitment through strategic partnerships. Lead Generation : Develop and execute both online and face-to-face strategies for effective lead generation. Innovate and Improve : Identify process improvements and develop innovative approaches to student recruitment. What were looking for : A successful track-record in student recruitment or business development preferably within the Australian education sector. Demonstrated ability in leading and working effectively as part of a team as well as the capacity to work independently. High-level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently influence outcomes at all levels of organisations. Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and bringing individuals and teams together to achieve mutually beneficial goals. The ability to prepare and present information in varying formats to people from a range of backgrounds and experience levels including reporting for senior managers. Salary details Appointment to this role will be at HEO 7 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $ comprising base salary within the range of $ to $ plus 17% superannuation.
