Role Overview Goodchild Enterprises are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Automotive Parts Salesperson to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in automotive parts to provide exceptional service and support to our customers, ensuring they find the right parts for their needs. Responsibilities Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable automotive parts and accessories (specifically batteries and oil). Parts interpreting and cross referencing products to meet customer needs. Utilize product knowledge to educate customers on features and benefits of parts, ensuring informed purchasing decisions. Process orders accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers. Provide a high level of customer service over the phone, email and in person. Qualifications Required: Sales experience in a fast-paced retail environment An ability to consistently lift at least 15kg Experience in the Microsoft Office suite of programs Australian Citizen/Permanent Resident Preferred: 1+ years of experience in automotive parts sales or a related field Parts interpreting and cross referencing experience Familiarity with automotive repair processes and terminology An understanding of automotive parts, systems, and repairs An ability to consistently lift at least 25kg Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies Ability to utilise online parts catalogs and databases Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Soft Skills and Cultural Fit Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a sales team Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset Positive attitude and enthusiasm for the automotive industry Location This is an on-site position on our customer service counter in Cockburn Central, Western Australia. #J-18808-Ljbffr
