We are seeking an experienced People & Culture (HR) Advisor to join our friendly team in providing effective and efficient focused HR services that are aligned with our values and operational goals. Role Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will provide expert advice, coaching and service support to Frontline Leaders, Managers and Workforce for consistent application of people processes. This role will be pivotal in: Interpretation and practical application of Enterprise Agreements, Fair Work Act and other relevant legislation for managers and employees. Draft, review and distribute a high volume of employee Contracts, Variations of Contracts and correspondence, ensuring attention to detail and compliance and professional written correspondence. Provide coaching, advice and frontline support to leaders and staff on performance appraisal, grievance or complaints procedures, undertaking investigations where necessary. Promote an engaging and high performing culture across the workforce through the provision of leadership coaching, standardised processes and behavioural standards. The fast‑paced, changing environment of public health will require you to demonstrate and role‑model personal resilience and emotional intelligence. We are seeking someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of HR legislation, policies, and best practices, experience in generalist HR functions and an adaptability to handle diverse situations. Our Region Wangaratta has a population of approximately 30,000 and our catchment serves a community of around 100 000 throughout the northeast. An easy 2 ½ hours drive on the Hume freeway from Melbourne and less than an hour to Albury airport with direct flights to most of the large Australian cities. We have over 11 schools including private Catholic and Anglican schooling options for pre‑year 12. Our region is a popular destination year‑round.
