About the company Our client is a fast-growing global alternative asset manager with a diverse portfolio. About the role This Fund Accountant role sits within a dynamic fund accounting team. Reporting to the Fund Accounting Manager, you’ll take ownership of critical accounting and operational processes, gaining hands‑on experience across fund financials, investor distributions, tax compliance, and audit. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented candidate eager to broaden technical skills and commercial knowledge in a growth-focused environment. Duties / Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and unit pricing Manage investor distributions and ensure custodian instructions are executed accurately and on time Oversee vendor invoices, payments, and expenditure controls Partner with fund administrators, auditors, custodians, and tax advisors to support month‑end close and financial reporting Support treasury management, investor queries, and transaction advisory Contribute to process improvement initiatives and maintaining a strong financial control framework Assist with preparation of financial statements and audit deliverables Skills and Experience Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting, ideally in fund accounting OR a Big4 First Mover (with a focus on Funds/FS/Real Estate) Experience with real estate funds is advantageous CA/CPA qualified, or actively working towards qualification Full working rights in Australia (visa sponsorship not available) Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders Positive, proactive, and motivated to contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency Apply Now If this sounds like your next career move, click “apply” or contact *************@allurapartners.com.au .
