This Melbourne based funds management company has investment products that include managed investment schemes, property, and mortgage funds for wholesale clients. An opportunity has arisen to join the Finance team for a Fund or Senior Fund Accountant reporting to the CFO. Responsibilities Supporting CFO across Fund and Project accounting, taxation, compliance and financial reporting, including: Assist with preparation of monthly fund accounting and reporting packs Assist with preparation of calculation of monthly distributions Assist with preparation of monthly unit pricing and NAV Assist with preparation of monthly management and performance fee calculations Assist with preparation of financial information for inclusion in investor and fund committee reporting Assist with coordinating external service providers (e.g. Custodian, Banks, Tax and Accounting advisors) Assist with preparation of taxation reconciliations and GST calculations and BAS returns Assist with annual statutory reporting and audit Assist with tax related matters Coordinating with the registry, responsible entity, fund auditors and tax advisors Qualifications The ideal candidate will be degree qualified andwill have proven fund/investment accounting experience from within funds management, superannuation or wealth management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
