Parish Property Co‑ordinator – Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne Location: Balwyn (Balwyn/Camberwell/Deepdene, Surrey Hills & Wattle Park). Permanent, part‑time (7.6 hours per week). Parking available. Warm, community-focused role. Key Responsibilities Oversee the planning, development, and maintenance for all Parish Assets and facilities. Be a member of the Finance and Investment Committee and provide an annual status report on all properties. Liaise with parish schools, Priests Retirement Foundation, Catholic Chinese Community and CAM Property as and when required. Maintain all investment rental properties; liaise with real estate agents and conduct annual inspections. Maintain services manual and maintenance schedules and liaise with trade personnel. Review insurance policies annually and attend to all insurance related matters. Other duties as directed by the Parish Priest. What You Bring Experience in property management. Strong administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Warm, values‑driven personality with a genuine commitment to the Church’s mission. Compassionate and respectful approach to people from all walks of life. Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently and unsupervised. Excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive, “can‑do” attitude. Integrity, confidentiality, life experience, and a good sense of humour. Required Valid Working with Children Check. Current Police Check. Valid Driver Licence. Right to Work in Australia. Perks and Safety Onsite parking provided. Secure and supportive working environment.
