OSHC Coordinator - Gorokan You’ll step into an established Outside School Hours Care service with deep ties to its community, a consistent team of seven educators, and strong leadership support from both the service owner and an experienced former Coordinator/Director. About the Role This role focuses on leading the daily operations of the OSHC and supporting both children and educators. You’ll balance time on the floor with off‑floor time to plan, guide the team, and deliver a high quality program. The position is flexible, with a mix of split and block shifts, including early starts from 6:30am. Lead daily operations across Before School, After School, and Vacation Care Guide and support the educator team Build positive relationships with families and the school community Ensure smooth, safe, and high-quality service operations Prepare for and guide the service through Assessment & Rating Use off‑floor time for planning, programming, and team support Hold both Coordinator and Educational Leader responsibilities Focus on quality, not admin - no CCMS or enrolment processing required Support you’ll have A supportive and available service owner Guidance from an experienced former Director/Coordinator A cohesive team who work well together About the Service A well regarded OSHC with a strong presence in the community Licensed for 100 children across BASC and Vacation Care A stable team of seven educators Includes a kitchen and an outdoor space Developed over many years by dedicated leadership A culture built on communication, connection, and commitment to quality About You OSHC experience (essential) Diploma qualification or higher (ACECQA approved) Strong relationship-building skills with children, families, and staff A calm, team focused, community minded approach Strong communication skills Confidence leading and supporting educators High standards for quality practice and compliance Confidence with Assessment & Rating Reliability, positivity, and consistency Not sure if you tick every box?
