OSHC Coordinator – Uniting Wahroonga Prep OSHC Join to apply for the OSHC Coordinator role at Uniting Compensation & Contract $46–$50/hr (depending on qualification and experience) + Director allowance + Super + Salary Packaging Benefits Maternity Leave contract, Start date: February 2026. Opportunity to lead and mentor a small team. About The Opportunity The Uniting Wahroonga Prep OSHC is licensed for 45 children during After School Care and Vacation Care. As a specialist in Pre‑K to Year 6 – Outside of School Hours Care and having a strong knowledge of the National Quality Standards, you will build a strong community culture in the centre and school, liaising with parents and developing staff. Hours Of Operation 7 am – 9 am, Monday to Friday 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday Vacation Care service operates 8 am – 6 pm In this role, you will be required to work 38 hours per week, with time off allocated for administration tasks. Essential Requirements Qualification in Children Services or Early Childhood Education. Approved child protection clearance. Valid First Aid Course. Valid Working With Children Check. Understanding of diversity and inclusive practice. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to working within the values of Uniting Children, Young People and Families. What do I need to succeed? Approved asthma emergency and anaphylaxis training. Experience and knowledge of the National Quality Standard – My Time Our Place (MTOP) framework and the Early Years Learning framework (EYLF). Able to demonstrate a genuine love of working with children or caring for children. Keen eye for identifying and mitigating risks. Previous experience in leadership role and mentoring colleagues.
