School Aged Education & Care (OSHC) Coordinator – Helensburgh We are thrilled to announce the upcoming opening of our new OSHC service at Holy Cross Catholic Primary School – Helensburgh in January 2026, designed to deliver high‑quality before and after‑hours school‑aged care. As part of this exciting new chapter, we are seeking an experienced and passionate OSHC Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in establishing a positive, inclusive and high‑performing culture from day one. This is a full‑time position, working 38 hours per week. The salary range is between $40.00 – $45.00 per hour (including Worker Retention Payment), depending on qualifications and experience. About the Role As the OSHC Coordinator, you’ll take charge of one of our newest Out of School Hours Care services – up to 30 children – where play nurtures learning, children feel safe and valued, and every day is a new opportunity to grow. You’ll lead with purpose, champion a nurturing team environment, and ensure every aspect of the service runs smoothly – from staffing and program planning to compliance and community engagement. Deliver play‑based programs that reflect children’s interests and developmental needs. Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, schools and the wider community. Oversee daily operations, administration, staffing, budgeting and compliance. Be the heart of a space where children feel safe, supported and excited to learn. Engage with families and children to create a supportive and nurturing environment. Oversee program development that aligns with educational standards and community needs. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe and positive setting. What You Bring to the Role Minimum 2 years’ experience in education and care Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent) Demonstrated leadership in a childcare or OSHC setting Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place and child protection requirements A child‑safe mindset and a genuine commitment to supporting children’s wellbeing and development Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain) NSW Working with Children Check + Driver’s Licence Perks with Purpose Increase your take‑home pay through tax savings up to $15,900 p.a.
