The Fraud team is one of three functions of Easygo’s Payments department. Specifically, in this role, we encourage ideas to be shared with the opportunity to take full ownership of projects. With the guidance of heavily experienced Payments and Fraud managers/leaders – who have worked in this industry for over a decade – you will have the chance to develop your skills, contribute to innovative solutions, and make a meaningful impact on Easygo’s success while advancing your career in the dynamic world of Fraud Prevention. Your role with us: What you will do Reporting directly to the Payments and Fraud Manager: examine the efficiency and security of Easygo’s online payment platforms. Build reports, write reviews, and analyse patterns and trends across our platform to support Easygo’s long-term future. Monitor transactions and make recommendations to the wider Payments & Fraud team to optimise fraud prevention strategies. The ideal candidate would be someone who showcases the ability to work in a dynamic environment. Possess critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, as well as Stakeholder Management/Engagement proficiency, with regular communication to internal departments and external 3rd party providers. Player Account Management Handle account disputes: Resolve player disputes and fraudulent claims, ensuring fair outcomes and maintaining customer trust. Blacklist suspicious accounts: Flag or ban accounts suspected of fraudulent activities or those that violate platform policies. Monitor and investigate suspicious activities: Track user accounts, betting patterns, and transactions to identify potential fraudulent behaviour (e.g., money laundering, bonus abuse, account takeover). Analyse user behaviour: Use data analytics tools to detect irregularities or patterns that may suggest fraudulent activities. Communication with Stakeholders Provide reports to management: Regularly update management on fraud-related issues and the status of ongoing investigations. Liaise with payment providers: Work with payment service providers to investigate and resolve payment fraud or chargeback issues. Collaboration with Teams Work with other departments: Collaborate with Customer Support, Payment Operations, Marketing, Business Intelligence, Casino and Sportsbook departments to share insights and address emerging fraud threats. Provide training: Train new staff on fraud detection techniques and best practices to identify and mitigate fraud. What you will bring Strong analytical skills to identify fraud patterns and trends. Familiarity with fraud detection software and tools. Understanding of financial transactions, payment methods, and fraud tactics. Excellent attention to detail and a proactive mindset. Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Ability to manage and prioritise multiple investigations at once.
