You will get to:
Review and implement systematic test procedures and scriptsDocument and evaluate test resultsHelp troubleshoot errors and report bugs and defectsCollaborate with the Engineering team to drive QA effortsParticipate in Agile ceremonies, providing constructive inputInvestigate process improvement to deliver high-quality software products and services successfully and consistentlyCo-operate in the enhancement of the methodologies employed for test planning and execution, defect tracking, and metric and status reporting.Work towards automating frequent tests and extending automated test coverage of systemsContinuously take initiative to implement best practiceSuggest solutions to identified product problemsIdentify KPIs for software product qualityEnsure QA is completed within the Sprint timebox
More About You
You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as good interpersonal skillsYou can demonstrate your ability for innovation in a fast-paced team environmentYou have strong analytical and problem-solving skillsYou strive to meet deadlines and know how to follow instructionsYou are self-motivated with a can-do attitudeYou have knowledge of agile development frameworksYou know when and how to apply various testing approaches (functional and non-functional)You understand Australian labour markets and the global education and employment landscapes (beneficial but not required )You have 2+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance EngineerYou have a working knowledge of programming languagesYou have experience with automated testing tools (Cypress preferred)You have a demonstrated ability to produce and maintain high-quality documentationYou have received a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or demonstrated relevant learning
