Senior Management Accountant - Temporary 3 Months Our Client Our client is a well-established, privately owned Australian organisation with a strong reputation for operational excellence, continuous improvement, and long-term stability. With a sizeable national workforce and a growing commercial footprint, the business is entering a period of increased focus on financial performance, analytical capability, and operational insight.As part of this, they are seeking an immediately available Senior Management Accountant to join the finance team on a 3 month temporary contract. The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, this temporary position will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial analysis, inventory insights, budgeting, forecasting and scenario modelling. Acting as a business partner to operations and commercial stakeholders, you will provide clear analysis to support decision-making and performance visibility.This is a 3-month contract, 5 days on site, ideal for a Senior Management Accountant with strong inventory experience and excellent interpersonal skills. Key responsibilities include: Detailed inventory analysis, costing reviews, and variance investigation Developing and maintaining forecasting models, budgets, and scenario plans Partnering with operational and commercial teams to provide financial insights Supporting month‑end processes and performance reporting Identifying risks, opportunities, and trends across inventory and supply chain Delivering clear, concise commentary for senior stakeholders Supporting ad-hoc analysis, modelling, and decision support projects Why Should You Apply? This role would also work well for a Finance Manager who wants to keep busy in a contract role over the slower recruitment months of the year. Key Skills and Experience: 5+ years in management accounting or commercial analysis Demonstrated experience working with inventory, costing, and supply chain Strong modelling, budgeting, and forecasting capability Ability to work closely with non‑finance stakeholders Advanced Excel and ERP system skills Excellent communication, influence, and relationship‑building Immediate availability essential & ability to commit to 3 months minimum Ready to Apply?
