This is a unique opportunity for a suitably experienced senior management accountant to join a small team in a high quality corporate environment. Role Working within a close-knit and established finance team, this Senior Financial/Management Accountant role is critical to the overall success of the finance function and wider business. Responsibilities Assist in the production of monthly board reports, quarterly and annual reports required by management and external stakeholders (including ABS returns) Assist in the production of the budget and 5 year forecast for the Group Manage all financial accounting aspects for the investment portfolios and other investments, including ensuring complete and accurate GL balances, management reporting and financial reporting Assist in ensuring the completeness and accuracy of the general ledger, via accurate journal entries (including inter-entity transactions), review of journals received from the Assistant Accountant and general ledger reconciliations Assist with the annual and half yearly statutory reporting and audit for the Group, including preparing the consolidated Group and other financial statements Prepare Income Tax returns for entities within the Group Adhoc tasks/projects (where time permits) Candidate You will already be an experienced Senior Management Accountant with a minimum 5 years post CPA/CA qualification. It is essential that you have excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills as you will be dealing with senior internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to show initiative and think laterally in problem solving are crucial, as are advanced Excel skills.
