In this role, you’ll lead the design and delivery of sophisticated, data-driven marketing solutions across all Salesforce Marketing Cloud products including Engagement, Account Engagement, Next, and the broader Salesforce ecosystem, with exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud.The right person will set the technical direction for Marketing Cloud programs, lead cross-functional delivery teams, define data and integration strategies, and act as the trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on all things architecture, personalisation, and marketing automation best practice. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end solution architecture across Marketing Cloud ensuring scalable, future-proof designs Act as the Project Lead, guiding architecture decisions, sequencing, approach, and quality assurance across multiple projects Run discovery and architecture workshops with senior client stakeholders, translating business goals into robust, multi-cloud designs Produce high-level and detailed solution designs, data models, integration patterns, and technical specifications Define data strategy across Marketing Cloud and core Salesforce Clouds, with strong consideration for Salesforce Data Cloud Design cross-cloud solutions spanning Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud and external platforms Set and uphold governance, development standards, security considerations and deployment patterns for enterprise-grade environments Architect multi-channel customer journeys, segmentation strategies and personalisation frameworks using Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio and Content Builder Oversee (and where needed, contribute to) advanced development – AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, APIs, CloudPages and integrations with external systems Design and review Contact Builder data models (single & multi-business unit), ensuring alignment with marketing data models and extensible schema design Lead integration testing, data validation and defect triage across complex ecosystems Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide strategic guidance on marketing maturity, automation and data-driven growth Support enablement by developing training and documentation for end users, power users and technical teams Experience 7 years in Marketing Automation or MarTech roles, with at least 3 years hands‑on in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead on multi‑cloud Salesforce implementations Deep expertise across Marketing Cloud Engagement (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Mobile Studio, Contact Builder) Strong experience designing complex personalisation and segmentation solutions Advanced knowledge of AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, APIs and Marketing Cloud development standards (JavaScript experience ideal) Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce Sales & Service Cloud, including Marketing Cloud Connect and an understanding of platform limitations Demonstrated ability to run discovery, gather requirements and present clear architectural recommendations to senior stakeholders Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills Highly organised, self‑sufficient, and comfortable leading cross‑functional delivery teams in fast‑paced environments Nice to have Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, identity resolution, data streams, data models and activation use cases Experience with Marketing Cloud Personalisation (Interaction Studio / Personalisation) or Personalisation on Core Familiarity with CDP concepts, AI‑driven personalisation, predictive modelling and data‑driven growth strategies Why you should apply Own the end-to-end marketing automation architecture across some of the most advanced Salesforce marketing programs in ANZ Work across cutting‑edge Salesforce products: Marketing Cloud Engagement, Account Engagement, Marketing Cloud Next and (potentially) Data Cloud Join a mature, supportive team that values best practice, technical excellence and long‑term customer relationships Drive real impact in how organisations design their data, journeys and customer experiences across channels Flexible work options across Australia If you are interested in this role and would like to hear more, hit the apply button with your updated CV and we will contact you.
