Exercise Physiologist- Horsham Aquatic Centre Our Vision is a better tomorrow where all people can belong. About the Opportunity Reporting to the Centre Manager, the Exercise Physiology Clinic Lead is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations, service development, and quality assurance of the Exercise Physiology department within YMCA Victoria. Practices as a Senior Exercise Physiologist in accordance with the Exercise and Sports Science Australia Professional Standards and SMHS policies and guidelines. The role provides clinical leadership, strategic planning, and operational oversight to ensure safe, evidence-based, and person-centered service delivery. The Rem for this role is $94,880 + Super and it is a Full Time Permanent Role. About the Centre The Centre runs over 50 group fitness classes each week, offer swimming lessons to people of all ages and abilities, and provide childcare services in a safe and engaging environment. The Centre is conveniently located at 53 Hamilton St, Horsham 3400. About You To be successful in this role you will have had proven experience in providing exercise physiology consultations to individuals and groups, with demonstrated ability to assess client needs within scope of service delivery. Other key requirements include: Proven ability to self-manage and promote the program Has the capacity to allocate resources, set priorities and ensure budgets are met. Supervises staff where required. To develop, implement and deliver strategic business plans which increase the level of care to customers within a budget framework. Good knowledge of primary care and the use of chronic disease Medicare item numbers. Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology Current First Aid Certificate Current registration as an Exercise Physiologist with ESSA- Exercise and Sports Science Australia Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate – Oxygen Certificate of Currency - Insurance is for Civil Liability Professional Indemnity and Public & Product Liability At the Y Victoria, we are committed to empowering all Children and Young People to feel safe and be safe.
