Financial Controller – Dandenong Salary: $120K–$140K + Super (skills and experience dependent) Location: Dandenong Industry: Manufacturing Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Controller with 8-10+ years’ experience, ideally within the manufacturing sector, to join their collaborative team in Dandenong. Reporting directly to the Director, you will manage two direct reports, the Accounts Payable Administrator and the Chief Accountant. Flexible start times: 7:00am, 8:00am, or 9:00am, Monday to Friday On-site parking available. Immediate start. Small, supportive team environment. Responsibilities Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting Oversee payroll, employee benefits, and statutory compliance Ensure regulatory compliance with the ATO and other statutory bodies Manage internal controls and financial risk Provide financial insights to support business decisions and growth Supervise and develop a small finance team (Financial Accountant, Accounts Payable, Purchasing) Support ERP systems (Pronto) and oversee IT/data security initiatives Drive lean-focused business efficiency improvements across all processes Company Secretarial duties, including reviewing commercial contracts and supporting board governance and statutory filings Requirements Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with CPA/CA qualification >Minimum 5 years of experience in financial leadership roles Experience in HR and administrative management is a plus Strong knowledge of Australian tax, compliance, and corporate governance Proven experience in payroll, administration, and team leadership ERP system experience (Pronto preferred) and understanding of data security Lean Champion mindset focused on value creation and business simplification Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Permanent right to work in Australia Why Join Us?
