Senior Project Accountant - Industrial Power Generation The Opportunity We're seeking a Senior Project Accountant to join our Industrial & Energy team, supporting the Industrial Power Generation East portfolio. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, this role focuses on financial tracking and reporting across a portfolio of projects, partnering with operational management to provide insight into past and future financial performance. You'll play a key role in maintaining transparency, driving financial discipline, and supporting the success of critical projects. What You’ll Do Manage project budgeting, cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure accurate revenue recognition and billing in line with contractual terms. Analyse project pricing, margins, and profitability to support decision‑making. Monitor cash flow, WIP, and accounts receivable to optimise financial performance. Partner with operational teams to provide insight into drivers of performance and deliver optimal outcomes. What We Offer Competitive remuneration and career development opportunities. What We’re Looking For Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce. Membership of CA or CPA. 5+ years’ experience in financial/project accounting within a complex corporate environment. Strong understanding of cost‑plus and schedule‑of‑rates contracts. Advanced Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems (JDE ideal). Highly organised, proactive, and commercially astute with strong interpersonal skills.
