Demonstrated extensive professional experience relevant to the role including an ability to work effectively as a sole practitioner in a remote, multicultural environment. Demonstrated broad nursing experience with recent accident and emergency skills. Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with proven ability to engage effectively, negotiate, and resolve complex issues. Demonstrated knowledge, understanding of the principles of Primary Health Care and Community. Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and experience in Quality Improvement, its practical application in meeting patients’ needs and its relationship to strategic development. Position Profile: To work as a member of a multidisciplinary team within a primary health care framework and philosophy in partnership with the Community and other organisation. To provide continuous, coordinated and comprehensive primary health care of advanced clinical level to families and individuals of that community. The Country Nursing & Midwifery incentive program is available to new and existing nurses and midwives - across a broad range of patient‑facing roles - on fixed term or permanent contracts at eligible locations. Eligible nurses and midwives can receive between $5,000 and $17,000 in support over 12 months. Area Profile WACHS Kimberley is the most northern health region of WACHS. The Kimberley region has approximately 200 Aboriginal communities, over 34 different Aboriginal language groups and 45 percent of the population are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people. WACHS Kimberley consists of six hospitals, an inpatient mental health unit, three Community Directorates and a Corporate Office.
