Endorsed Emergency Nurse Practitioner – Bairnsdale Regional Health Service Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) is seeking a dynamic clinician to join our Emergency Department team in a 14‑month parental‑leave cover position, commencing January 2026. This is a fixed‑term, part‑time role of 64 hours per fortnight. About the Role As an Endorsed Nurse Practitioner, you will provide expert emergency care to a varied patient cohort, working collaboratively within the Emergency Department and engaging with a broad multidisciplinary team. You will operate largely autonomously and contribute to the advancement of nursing practice through evidence‑based care, clinical leadership and quality‑improvement initiatives. About the Emergency Department Our ED serves the Bairnsdale and East Gippsland region and sees approximately 23 000 patients per year. The Department offers trauma and emergency care and is supported by a 5‑bed Short‑Stay Unit and a dedicated fast‑track area for NP‑led care. The team includes ED SMOs, HMOs, interns, VMOs and a dedicated group of Nurse Practitioners. Why Join Us? Dedicated NP team with strong peer support and built‑in mentorship. What You'll Need to Succeed Current AHPRA registration with Nurse Practitioner endorsement and a Master of Advanced Nursing Practice (or equivalent). At least 5 years of postgraduate experience in emergency nursing, with advanced clinical skills, ALS accreditation and triage competence. Proven ability to lead change, mentor colleagues and work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams.
