Volunteer at the 5K Foam Fest

We are very excited to announce that Make-A-Wish is once again the charity partner of the 5K Foam Fest , a foam-filled fun obstacle course that runs over 5km, and we're looking for volunteers to support this amazing fundraising event Our partnership involves Make-A-Wish staff and volunteers running the bag and gear check-in tent where participants can leave their personal belongings during the race in return for a $5 donation to Make-A-Wish. Volunteer duties include bag checking and cash handling. This is a huge event for Make-A-Wish each year and we hope this year will be even better Full training will be provided on the day and no experience is necessary. It's a really fun experience and the best part is that you can participate in the event for free after your shift or at a future event (if you wish) Please note that if you help with the all-day or afternoon shift, you will be given 1 ticket to participate in a future event. If you volunteer for the morning shift, you will receive 1 free run with the last wave of runners upon completion of your shift or 1 free ticket to a future event. There are 6 events across Australia including the below event west of Central Coast: Glenworth Valley - Saturday 6th December and Sunday 7th December at Glenworth Valley Wilderness Adventures, 69 Cooks Road, Glenworth Valley NSW . Please note that volunteers can help on either day, or both Volunteer shifts available: Morning: 7:00 am to 12:00 pm Afternoon: 11:00 am to 4:00 pm All day: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm We will endeavour to offer you your preferred shift time and may ask if you are available for an alternative time slot. The morning shift is busiest and therefore when we will need the most volunteers Please note that all volunteers for this Foam Fest must be aged 18 years or older and you will be sent a short application form after submitting your enquiry. Application Instruction After submitting your interest, you will be emailed a short online application form. Volunteers will only be confirmed for this event and assigned to their shift once the form has been completed. Please check your junk emails to make sure you don't miss any important updates.
