With c. $170‑200k plus super, Sydney CBD. Role Overview As Head of Strategic Finance, you will take ownership of commercial finance, FP&A and strategic insight functions across the group. You will design scalable reporting, budgeting and forecasting frameworks, deliver clear financial insights to the executive team, and develop the metrics, analysis and market intelligence that shape long‑term strategy. You will play a key role in pricing strategy, margin analysis, capital planning and Board reporting. You will become a trusted advisor to leaders across Sales, Marketing, Academic and Operations, and play a meaningful role in capital planning, debt facility support, evaluation of M&A opportunities and preparation activities associated with a future private equity exit. Responsibilities Own commercial finance, FP&A and strategic insight functions across the group. Design scalable reporting, budgeting and forecasting frameworks. Deliver clear financial insights to the executive team. Develop metrics, analysis and market intelligence that shape long‑term strategy. Drive pricing strategy, margin analysis, capital planning and Board reporting. Act as a trusted advisor to Sales, Marketing, Academic and Operations leaders. Support capital planning, debt facility management, M&A evaluation and private equity exit preparation. Qualifications & Experience CA/CPA qualified. Commercially astute finance leader with strong analytical capability. Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, corporate development or strategic finance roles. Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complexity for senior stakeholders. Experience in multi‑site, education, services or tech‑enabled businesses highly regarded. Prior exposure to long‑term modelling, pricing, forecasting and business partnering. Background working with lenders and investment stakeholders in an M&A‑focused growth environment highly regarded.
