Mornington Screening Service – Kings Park NSW Are you a qualified CA/CPA looking to work close to home in Kings Park? Do you have strong technical skills and experience in all aspects of accounting? Have you had experience working in construction or project-based work? This is a fantastic opportunity to join this growing client-focused, robotic solutions provider with 130+ years’ market experience located in the Western suburbs of Sydney. The Opportunity As the Head of Finance in this business, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial processes and ensuring the successful delivery of all financial initiatives. Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead all aspects of the company’s finance function, managing an outsourced finance team of four ensuring robust control, compliance, and insight. You will oversee and manage all financial aspects of the company's operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis. You will develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth objectives, and ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, laws, and reporting requirements, including tax compliance as well as statutory obligations (BAS, super, payroll tax etc.). You will manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies and oversee the outsourced payroll process and related reporting. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a growing business with amazing ongoing opportunities Requirements Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce Minimum 8 years’ experience in finance, including leadership or head-of-function roles. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights. Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholder collaboration. Experience managing outsourced or hybrid finance teams. Commercially minded and confident in communicating with senior management and Boards. Experience in project-based or technical service industries highly regarded. Full working rights in Australia This position is working on site in Kings Park Monday-Friday.
