Join the Youth Sports Referee role at YMCA of Greater Seattle . Seniority level: Entry level; Employment type: Part-time. Overview On-site, Part-Time Position. Grade 12 Hiring Range: $20.76 - $22/hour (DOE). Job Summary Officiate a variety of youth and teen sports programs. Create a safe, enjoyable, inclusive environment while providing a high‑quality experience to participants and families. Key Responsibilities Officiate games in accordance with YMCA rules and guidelines. Follow YMCA policies and procedures, including medical, disciplinary, child‑abuse prevention, and emergency procedures. Develop positive relationships with participants. Set up and take down equipment; report equipment needs. Attend staff meetings and required trainings. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 16 years of age or older. Preferred: State‑approved first aid certification. Preferred: State‑approved CPR certification. Knowledge of the sport. Experience in officiating preferred. Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations. Other applicable education, training, and experience is considered. Will receive training at hire or within 90 days. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of and experience with diverse populations. Additional language skills beyond English (helpful).
