What are we looking for? Our National Work & Road team is growing, and we are now seeking a Managing Law Clerk to join our Perth office. As a valued member of this team, you will help support our Lawyers as they advance claims on behalf of our clients. This is a full time opportunity with flexible work arrangements.In this role you will manage your own Workers Compensation Law files.You will ensure the efficient day to day operation of the files including preparation of matters for trial. Under supervision of a Lawyer, your daily duties will include: Providinga tailored approach to each client’s matter Undertaking client interviews toestablishan entitlement to make a claim Analyse relevant issues and files under supervision Preparing legal correspondence, court documents and briefs to Counsel Managing your own file load of client claims Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal and external stakeholders Ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations What will you bring? To be successful in this role our ideal candidate will have a proven ability to empathise with our clients whilstmaintaininga high levelof professionalism.The following attributes and skills will ensure your ongoing success: Previousexperience as a Law Clerkor in case managementpreferred Ability to exercise judgement and resolve problems A natural passion for helping people and high level of empathy Exceptionalexperience in communicationand customer service Excellent written and drafting skills Recognise the importance of attention to detail and time management Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to multi-task Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment Available to work 38 hours per week, between the hours of 8:30am – 5pm Monday to Friday What next?
