Our team is small, highly collaborative and passionate about ensuring all clients receive fairness from the legal system. We are currently seeking a Legal Assistant as a key cornerstone for the firm, supporting the Principal on a full‑time basis. Your prior legal experience and solutions‑focused approach will be rewarded with opportunities to branch out and learn new skills while working on files of various scope and complexity. Role Opening and closing files General administration, billing and outside clerk duties Assisting with preparation of documents and running files across a range of matters Drafting court applications Diary and e‑mail management Management of highly confidential documentation Management of client files Assisting with client enquiries Other administrative tasks as required Requirements Demonstrated prior experience as Legal Assistant, ideally in family or criminal law. Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to show initiative and remain highly confidential Genuine care for people Ability to prioritise tasks effectively, work to tight deadlines and perform under pressure Exceptional attention to detail A positive can‑do attitude with excellent problem‑solving skills The ability to work in a team and autonomously Experience using LEAP Legal Software Experience using the MS Office 365 suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint) What's on offer Permanent role, Monday to Friday (Part‑time may be considered) Lovely offices in Perth CBD close to public transport End of trip facilities Work alongside industry experts Exposure to other areas of law and upskilling If this position is of interest to you, please apply with your resume and cover letter outlining your suitability for the position to .
