Zweck is an internal Group Services division that partners with Aizer Group. We are recruiting a Junior Restoration Technician for our partner Westaway Restorations. Why this role is perfect for juniors There’s no formal apprenticeship in restoration (yet), but this role is the next best thing. At Westaway, we fully support and pay for your IICRC industry certifications , giving you a nationally and internationally recognised qualification while you earn. You’ll learn from experienced technicians in the field, gaining hands‑on skills that can take you anywhere in the industry. And here’s the bonus: there’s no junior rate So you’ll start on a competitive full adult rate from day one. That means real pay, real skills, and real opportunities. What You’ll Be Doing Assist with water extraction, fire and smoke clean‑ups, mould remediation and structural drying Learn to use industry equipment and techniques safely and effectively Support senior technicians on restoration and disaster response jobs Represent Westaway with professionalism, empathy and care Participate in on‑call rosters (including overtime and some weekends once trained) Gain hands‑on experience and complete your IICRC formal restoration training (paid by us) About You We’re not looking for experience - we’re looking for attitude. If you’re reliable, hands‑on, and want a job that means something, we’ll train you to do the rest.
