Your work will provide assurance that the Agency is operating with integrity and purpose. Key Responsibilities engage in intellectually challenging work while exercising autonomy and professional judgement contribute to managing the NIAA audit and assurance work program ensure audit and assurance processes are rigorously followed, in keeping with relevant standards monitor appropriate auditing and assurance techniques, in compliance with relevant standards assist in completing assurance analysis and stakeholder interviews contribute to assurance reporting including cyclical reporting to NIAA’s audit and risk committee/s, senior leadership forums and relevant government agencies assist with the development and delivery of assurance related advice, training and education to all staff, relevant stakeholders and partners contribute to the development and implementation of projects to improve NIAA audit and assurance practices, monitoring and control Ideal Candidate enjoy being part of an agile team have demonstrated leadership, emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills have well‑developed verbal and written communication skills display sound analytical, research, decision‑making and problem‑solving skills are confident in learning new systems and processes can manage competing priorities and work independently in a fast‑paced environment can maintain cultural competency and commitment to continual development of cultural competency skills What We Offer We have exciting work with real purpose. The occupant must be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (Protected) level security clearance, or hold a current security clearance of an appropriate level.
